Registration is open for StartUp Jefferson City's Motivational Meet Up, which is set from 9-11 a.m. March 16 at the G2 Gallery, 102 E. High St.
Three local entrepreneurs - Brandon Wooley, owner of Capital Mortgage Solutions, Marie Hilke, owner of Hilke's Ice, and Taisir Yanis, owner of Coffee Zone - will share how they have built their respective businesses from scratch.
The event is free, but registration is required.
As a follow up to this event, a Spring Pitch Event has been scheduled for April 23 and a Fall Pitch Event will be scheduled in October.
Participants will have the opportunity to "pitch" their business idea to a panel of judges, who will provide feedback. Prize money will be awarded to selected winners.
