Sheriff probes 4 burglaries in Tebbetts, Holts Summit

Burglars hit three businesses in Tebbetts and a residence near Holts Summit during the weekend.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office is investigating thefts that occurred during the weekend at two farms in the Tebbetts area. They are the W.A. Rootes Farms and Smart Brothers Farms. Also hit was Stanlin Salvage Co., located on state Road AA near Tebbetts.

The other burglary was at a residence near Holts Summit.

The sheriff’s office said all of the incidents are likely related.

Stolen items from the four burglaries included a small amount of cash, four 16-inch aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires, a D&M sander, four stock wheels and tires from a Lincoln Continental, and several vehicle radiators and batteries.
