Tuesday, February 19, 2013
ELDON, Mo. — Volunteers from the American Red Cross Heart of Missouri chapter are helping families displaced from their homes Saturday after a multi-housing unit on Doyle Road, outside of Eldon, burned.
Three chapter volunteers met with two of the families and provided financial resources. The assistance included food, clothing, personal hygiene items, shoes and temporary motel stays.
The Moreau Fire Protection District was the main department handling the fire, along with the assistance of other area fire protection districts.
