ASHLAND, Mo. — The Blair Oaks Falcons opened up the Class 3 District 8 Tournament with a 61-42 win over the Centralia Panthers on Tuesday.

Blair Oaks, the top seed, got 22 points from Joey Bernskoetter and 11 from Brett Voss in the victory.

The Falcons led the eighth-seeded Panthers 20-11 after one quarter, 36-16 at halftime and 47-28 after three quarters.

Blair Oaks (21-5) will play fourth-seeded Hallsville at 6 p.m. Thursday in the semifinals.
