TOPEKA, Kan. — The Truman State Bulldogs got their first win of the season Sunday, topping Washburn 8-1 in the first game of a doubleheader.
Logan Siegler (Fatima High School) was the winning pitcher. He worked the first six innings, giving up one unearned run on three hits while striking out five.
The Bulldogs, who dropped the second game 16-11, are now 1-2 on the year.
