HAYS, Kan. — The Central Missouri Mules improved to 6-1 on the season after winning all three games in a weekend series with Fort Hays State.
The Mules pounded out 14 hits in the series opener Saturday and won 16-4.
Brad Wilson (Helias High School) went 3-for-4 for the Mules and drove in three runs in the victory.
The Mules amassed 17 more hits in Saturday’s nightcap, thumping the Tigers 17-7.
Wilson had three more hits, going 3-for-6 with a two-run home run.
On Sunday, Central Missouri scored in every inning but one and notched a 10-0 win.
Wilson had a sacrifice bunt to drive in the game’s first run.
