Boys Basketball: St. Elizabeth 59, New Bloomfield 56

ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. — Brian Wilde scored 20 points in the third quarter Thursday night for St. Elizabeth in the Hornets’ 59-56 victory against the New Bloomfield Wildcats.

Wilde finished with 29 points in the game. The Hornets led 19-18 at the half, but stretched their advantage to 46-32 heading into the final period.

Brent Monteer added 11 points for St. Elizabeth (8-15), who will play tonight against Calvary Lutheran at Trinity Lutheran.

Justice Richards had 14 points to lead New Bloomfield.

In Thursday’s JV game, Mason Monteer scored 16 points in St. Elizabeth’s 53-36 victory. Braydon Holtmeyer added 11.
