Boys Basketball: St. Elizabeth 45, Jamestown 42

ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. — St. Elizabeth got the finish it was looking for Saturday evening against Jamestown.

The Hornets got 10 points in the fourth quarter from Brent Monteer and rallied to beat Jamestown 45-42.

Jamestown led 10-8 after the first, 21-14 at halftime and 27-25 after three quarters.

But St. Elizabeth connected on 8-of-8 free throws in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.

Travis Minor led St. Elizabeth with 12 points while Jared Bax added 10.

Alden Rohrbach led Jamestown with 16. Trevor Barbour added 12.

The Hornets (7-14) play again Tuesday at Fatima.
