Boys Basketball: Eugene 78, Tuscumbia 38

TUSCUMBIA, Mo. — It was over pretty quickly.

The Eugene Eagles jumped out to a 37-11 lead after one quarter Friday and cruised to a 78-38 victory against the Tuscumbia Lions.

The Eagles, who stretched their lead to 55-24 at the half, were led by Cody Shaw’s 20 points. Cameron Massman added 14, while Travis Kemper had 11 and Austin Russell totaled 10.

Zane Humphreys had 14 points to lead Tuscumbia.

Eugene (17-7) is back in action next Friday for Homecoming agianst South Callaway.

In Friday’s JV game, Eugene posted a 64-26 victory.
