Two 17-year-old boys are in custody after being questioned about gunshots fired at Bolivar High School when no one was in the school.

Police say several shots were fired at the school late Saturday or early Sunday, damaging windows and the school’s trophy case. No one was injured.

Bolivar police and Missouri Highway Patrol troopers were at all the city’s schools Monday as a precaution.

Police say the incident is being investigated as an act of vandalism.
