California 82, Warsaw 80

CALIFORNIA — Talk about holding on.

California, ahead by 21 points heading in the fourth quarter, escaped with an 82-80 victory against Warsaw on Tuesday.

California went up 16-13 after one quarter, 33-26 at halftime and 59-38 heading into the fourth quarter. Warsaw outscored California 42-23 in the final period, but the Pintos were able to hang on for the win.

Jaden Bar paced the Pintos with 24 points, Curtis Lehman tallied 15, Chase Ramsdell added 14 and Damon Shaw had 11.

California (12-8) hosts Eldon on Friday.
