Lincoln competes at Husker Invitational

LINCOLN, Neb. — Lincoln University’s Donna-Lee Hylton and the women’s 4x400-meter relay team each picked up victories over NCAA Division I athletes, highlighting the track and field team’s weekend at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.

The meet, hosted by the University of Nebraska, featured Division I schools Florida, Auburn, Central Florida, Oklahoma State, Baylor and Kansas State.

Hylton’s win came in the finals of the 400-meter dash, where she finished in 54.56.

The win in the 4x400-meter relay came in a time of 3:46.88 from the team of Tamara Keane, Lovan Palmer, Twishana Williams and Nicketa Coombs.
