COLUMBIA, Mo. - Missouri's first tour of the Southeastern Conference has had its share of down moments, most of those coming away from Mizzou Arena.

So the 17th-ranked Tigers should be happy to return home to the friendly confines of Mizzou Arena to take on a struggling Auburn squad today (12:30 p.m. KQFX-TV).

Missouri (15-5, 4-3 SEC) is coming off its fourth road loss of the season Wednesday night at LSU. Despite getting leading scorer Laurence Bowers back for the first time in five games, Missouri couldn't defeat an LSU squad that had just one conference win previously. The Tigers shot just 37.7 percent in that game. Missouri trailed by 16 at one point but never took the lead, falling 73-70.
