Both Walmarts get bomb threats in span of minutes

Officers were called to bomb threats at both Jefferson City Walmart stores early Sunday morning.

The first was called in to the store on West Stadium Boulevard at 12:15 a.m. and at 12:18 a.m. a threat was called in at the store on Supercenter Drive.

Nothing was found in either incident.

Detectives spent Monday investigating the incidents, but no suspects have been found.

Police could not find any other Walmart stores where this recently occurred.

In July 2012. the store on Supercenter Drive was evacuated for a bomb threat and was one of several Walmarts in Missouri where threats were called in on the same day.
