MOBERLY, Mo. - The tide turned against the Blair Oaks Falcons in the third quarter Saturday as the Moberly Spartans captured a 63-53 victory in the MRMC Shootout.
Blair Oaks led 13-5 after one quarter and 25-24 at the half. But the Spartans outscored the Falcons 19-7 in the pivotal third quarter to take an 11-point lead into the final period.
Kory Franks had 20 points for Blair Oaks, while Logan Bax totaled 11.
The Falcons were 17-of-32 from the free-throw line, while the Spartans finished 21-of-25.
Blair Oaks (6-2) is back in action Friday night at home against Hermann.
