Helias senior quarterback Wyatt Porter has been selected to participate in the Blue-Grey East-West All-American game Sunday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The game features high school seniors who competed at various combine events at NFL stadiums or training sites around the country. Porter was selected for the game after attending one of the game’s three Super Combine events. He participated in one held at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

Porter will be one of three quarterbacks on the East team.

Porter was selected the Class 4 Offensive Player of the Year this season by the Missouri High School Football Coaches Association. He was 175-of-277 (63.2 percent) passing for 2,830 yards and 34 touchdowns. He was also second on the team in rushing with 754 yards with five touchdowns as Helias advanced to the state championship game for the second straight season.

Porter is the school’s all-time leader in passing yards, completions and touchdown passes.
