7 incumbents file for reelection in south Callaway County

On the first day of filing for local elections, several incubents for school boards and city councils in southern Callaway County entered the ring to retain their seats.
New Bloomfield Board of Education
New Bloomfield School Board incumbents are three for three in filing for reelection. Board president Gracia Backer, Craig Abbott and Debbie Cuno all threw their hats in for reelection on Tuesday.
New Bloomfield City Council
On the first day to file for municipal elections, all New Bloomfield City Council incumbents — Mayor Mike Lowe, Ward 1 councilmember Paul Hilchen and Ward 2 councilmember Rosemary Augustine — filed to maintain their seats.
South Callaway Board of Education
Of the three members of the South Callaway Board of Education, one filed for the 2014 election on Tuesday. Brent Woods, board member, filed for reelection.
Holts Summit Board of Alderman
As of yesterday, no one has filed in Holts Summit for any of the three spots up for election. The mayoral position and one position in both wards is up for grabs. Currently holding those positions are Mayor Lucas Fitzpatrick, Ward 1 alderman Sharon Schlueter and Ward 2 alderman Landon Oxley.
