Russellville rallies past St. Elizabeth

ST. ELIZABETH - Russellville rallied from a nine-point halftime deficit to post a 47-42 win against St. Elizabeth on Monday night.

The game was knotted at 12 after one quarter, before the Hornets took a 29-20 lead into the locker room. But Russellville outscored St. Elizabeth 18-10 in the third to cut the deficit to 39-38, and the Indians had a 9-3 edge in scoring in the fourth.

Levi Anderson dropped in 19 points to lead Russellville, which spoiled St. Elizabeth's Homecoming.

Braden Holtmeyer and Brian Wilde combined for 39 of St. Elizabeth's 42 points. Holtmeyer scored a game-high 22 and Wilde added 17.

St. Elizabeth (1-5) will host Eugene on Friday.
