VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Henrik Sedin had a goal and an assist and Roberto Luongo made 39 saves and the Vancouver Canucks routed the Boston Bruins 6-2 on Saturday for their seventh straight victory.

Jannik Hansen, David Booth, Chris Higgins, Yannik Weber and Christopher Tanev also scored for Vancouver, which finished its five-game homestand with a perfect record and is 8-1-1 in its past 10. Daniel Sedin, Mike Santorelli and Brad Richardson each added two assists.

The game marked the Bruins' first visit to Rogers Arena since their victory over the Canucks in Game 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup final.

Reilly Smith had both goals for Boston, which had its four-game winning streak snapped.

Tuukka Rask allowed four goals on 23 shots for the Bruins.

KINGS 5, SENATORS 2

OTTAWA (AP) - Anze Kopitar scored twice to lead Los Angeles to its sixth straight victory.

Jeff Carter, Dwight King and Jarret Stoll also scored to help the Kings improve to 22-7-4. Rookie Martin Jones extended his winning streak to five games, stopping 37 shots.

Joe Corvo and Erik Karlsson scored for the Senators. Craig Anderson was pulled after allowing two goals on four shots in 4:18. Robin Lehner finished the game, allowing three goals on 22 shots.

PENGUINS 4, RED WINGS 1

DETROIT (AP) - Evgeni Malkin had a goal and two assists before hurting his left leg early in the third period of Pittsburgh's win over Detroit.

NHL scoring leader Sidney Crosby also scored two goals to help the Penguins win.

Malkin got tangled up with Detroit's Luke Glendening, lost his balance and his left skate took the brunt of collision with the boards behind Pittsburgh's net. The Russian forward slowly got up and kept his left skate in the air as he was helped off the ice. He was called for holding on the play, but couldn't serve the penalty because he was being evaluated.

Malkin moved past the 600-point mark for his career and ranks among league leaders with 41 points this season.

Penguins defenseman Deryk Engelland put himself in danger of being suspended by the NHL for an illegal hit to the head. Engelland landed his right shoulder high on Detroit forward Justin Abdelkader late in the first period and was ejected with a match penalty. Abdelkader struggled to get up, had to be helped off the ice and didn't return.

MAPLE LEAFS 7, BLACKHAWKS 3

TORONTO (AP) - Joffrey Lupul and Peter Holland each scored twice to help Toronto end a three-game losing streak with a win over Chicago.

Mason Raymond added four assists for the Leafs.

Tied 1-1 after the first period, Toronto outscored Chicago 4-1 in the second to pull ahead for its first win in regulation time since Nov. 19, a 5-2 victory over the New York Islanders.

The victory also snapped an eight-game losing streak to Chicago going back to February 2003.

Jerry D'Amigo, Nikolai Kulemin and Phil Kessel also scored for Toronto.

CANADIENS 1, ISLANDERS 0, OT

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) - Max Pacioretty scored 1:51 into overtime and Carey Price made 21 saves for his 21st NHL shutout and Montreal beat New York.

Pacioretty took a short feed in front from David Desharnais and shoved a shot past Evgeni Nabokov for his 12th goal. Nabokov stopped 24 shots and was the hard-luck loser as he came back from injury.

It was Price's second shutout this season for the Canadiens, who snapped a two-game skid and improved to 10-2-1 in their last 13. They have scored only two goals in the past three games.

Montreal spoiled the NHL debut of prized Islanders prospect Ryan Strome, the No. 5 pick in the 2011 draft.

New York (9-19-6) returned from a 1-4 trip and lost for the 12th time in 13 games (1-9-3).

DEVILS 3, LIGHTNING 0

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Dainius Zubrus scored two goals in the third period and Martin Brodeur made 33 saves, leading New Jersey past Tampa Bay.

Brodeur earned his third shutout of the season and 124th of his career.

Jaromir Jagr assisted on both goals to raise his assist total to 1,024.

Damien Brunner's seventh goal had broken the scoreless tie in the second period.

Jagr skated behind the net and passed to Zubrus on doorstep of the crease for the goal at 6:44 of the period.

Then at 9:36, Jagr put a backhand shot on goal and Zubrus was there to knock in the rebound for his seventh goal and a 3-0 advantage.

STARS 6, JETS 4

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) - Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn each scored two goals and Sergei Gonchar had four assists and Dallas beat Winnipeg.

The victory halted a two-game losing skid for the Stars, who only have four wins in their past 10 games.

Dallas rookie Valeri Nichushkin also scored a goal and center Colton Sceviour scored his first NHL goal.

Kari Lehtonen, playing his 200th game for the Stars and 404th career NHL game, stopped 34 of the 38 shots he faced.

Blake Wheeler had a pair of goals, Matt Halischuk also scored and Olli Jokinen added a goal and assist for Winnipeg, which is winless in its past six home games.

WILD 2, AVALANCHE 1, SO

DENVER (AP) - Mikko Koivu scored the winner in the shootout and Josh Harding made two glove saves, helping Minnesota rally for a win over Colorado.

Koivu beat Semyon Varlamov with a shot just under the crossbar. Zach Parise also scored for the Wild in the shootout.

Matt Duchene had a shootout goal for the Avs, but Harding then stopped P.A. Parenteau and Ryan O'Reilly to preserve the win.

Harding finished with 26 saves as the Wild won their first game away from Excel Energy Center since Nov. 23. Harding entered the game with a league-best 1.52 goals against average.

Nino Niederreiter tied the game with 3:53 remaining in regulation.

HURRICANES 3, COYOTES 1

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Eric Staal had a goal and two assists, Justin Peters stopped 37 shots, and Carolina ended a four-game road trip with a win over Phoenix.

Carolina came into the game having pulled out a point in the previous two games of its trip and fell behind 1-0 after one period against the Coyotes.

Nathan Gerbe tied it midway through the second and Jeff Skinner put the Hurricanes ahead early in the second with his eighth goal in six games.

Peters made some big stops down the stretch and Staal added an empty-net goal for Carolina, which gets five days off before its next game.

Paul Bissonette scored his first goal in two years and Mike Smith stopped 30 shots for Phoenix.

PREDATORS 3, SHARKS 2

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Carter Hutton made 36 saves to lead Nashville over San Jose.

Eric Nystrom, Roman Josi, and Viktor Stalberg scored for Nashville, which has won three straight.

Making his third consecutive start, Hutton stopped eight in the first, 10 in the second, and 18 in the third.

Dan Boyle and Patrick Marleau scored for San Jose, losers of five of their past six.

FLAMES 2, SABRES 1, OT

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Paul Byron and Matt Stajan scored and Calgary started a five-game road trip with an overtime win over Buffalo.

Karri Ramo made 26 saves for the Flames, who have won their past three road games.

Matt Moulson scored for the Sabres, while Jhonas Enroth made 24 saves in the loss.

Stajan's overtime winner came just 42 seconds into the period, as his wrist shot beat Enroth to the goalie's left. Byron had two points against the team that drafted him in 2007.

BLUES 4, BLUE JACKETS 3, OT

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - David Backes scored 22 seconds into overtime on a breakaway and St. Louis rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat Columbus.

Vladimir Tarasenko scored twice and Chris Stewart tied it with 6:27 remaining in regulation for St. Louis, which entered tied for the fewest regulation losses in the league with six and have won three straight and four of five. Brenden Morrow added two assists and Jaroslav Halak made 30 saves for the Blues.

On the winner, Columbus lost the puck at its blue line. Backes took it, fended off Fedor Tyutin on a delayed penalty call then deked Mike McKenna and calmly scored with a high shot.

Tyutin, Artem Anisimov and Ryan Johansen scored for Columbus.
