Blair Oaks wrestling sweeps three matches

VERSAILLES — Blair Oaks swept a tri-dual from Versailles, Hallsville and the Missouri Military Academy on Thursday night.

Blair Oaks started with a 51-30 win against Versailles.

Winners by fall for the Falcons were Landon Gaydos (120), Alex Gaydos (132), Logan Mudd (145), Brad Thomas (152), Cole Kemna (170) and Corbin Singer (195).

Frankie Falotico won by injury default at 126, Chance Cumpton won a 13-11 decision at 220 and John Karsten won at 285 by forfeit.

Blair Oaks then defeated Hallsville 69-12.

Winners by fall for the Falcons were Falotico (126), Paul Karsten (138), Thomas (152) and Tanner Lueckenhoff (182).

Riley Boeckman took a 13-6 decision at 160, while Joey Conway (120), Alex Gaydos (132), Mudd (145), Kemna (170), Singer (195), Heath Branch (220) and Levi Dial (285) all won by forfeit.

Blair Oaks finished with a 63-12 win against MMA.

Paul Karsten (138), Mudd (145), Boeckman (160) and John Karsten (285) won by fall.

Alex Gaydos won a 7-1 decision at 132, while Conway (120), Falotico (126), Kemna (170), Lueckenhoff (182) and Singer (195) won by forfeit.

Blair Oaks (5-0) returns to action Saturday when it competes in the Mexico Tournament.
