A total of 25 area football players have been selected to all-state football teams in their respective classes for the 2013 season by media members from around Missouri
In addition, five of those schools earned spots in the final state rankings, while two others received votes.

THE HELIAS CRUSADERS had three players named to the first team in Class 4.
Hale Hentges, a junior, made the offensive squad at receiver-end. Hentges led the Crusaders with 59 catches for 875 yards and 14 touchdowns this season.
Blake Wilbers, a junior, was named as a lineman on the first-team defensive unit. Wilbers finished with 78 total tackles (33 solo) this season. He also had a pair of sacks and two tackles for loss.
Mike Tannehill made the first team at linebacker. The senior led Helias with 178 tackles (89 solo), while totaling eight tackles for loss and three quarterback sacks.
A total of four Crusaders made the second team. Three were on offense - quarterback Wyatt Porter, running back Garrett Buschjost and lineman Will Fife -while J.C. Szumigala was chosen as a punter.
Helias (12-3, state runner-up) was second in the state poll behind champion Webb City. In the six classes, the Crusaders were the lone team to receive all 15 of the second-place votes in the balloting.

THE BLAIR OAKS Falcons had a total of five players selected to the Class 2 squad.
Making the first team were running back Dominic Jamerson and receiver-end Haydn Lock.
Jamerson finished with a team-high 1,138 yards rushing and totaled 14 touchdowns on the ground.
Lock, who also was a first-team selection on the Missouri Coaches Association all-state squad, paced the Falcons with 69 receptions for 1,219 yards and 18 touchdowns.
Falcons named to the second team were offensive lineman Hayden Haney, defensive lineman Corbin Singer and linebacker Caleb Bischoff.
Blair Oaks (12-2) finished fourth in the final Class 2 rankings.

THE JEFFERSON CITY Jays played a pair of players on the second team in Class 6.
Brayden Byrd was selected on the offensive line, while Hayden Strobel made the defensive squad at linebacker.
The Jays (6-4) received votes in the final state rankings.

THE CALIFORNIA PINTOS had five players selected to the Class 3 team.
Three Pintos made the first team - offensive lineman Alexx Lewis, defensive lineman Nathan Squires and kicker Aaron Cuevas.
Making the second team from California were linebacker Jerry Lutz and punter Jaden Barr.
The Pintos f(12-2) finished No. 3 in the final state rankings.

ELDON AND SCHOOL of the Osage both placed a player each on the Class 3 team.
Dalton Lister of Eldon was a second-team selection at linebacker, while Dylan Jeffries of School of the Osage was on the second-team offense at receiver/end.
Eldon (9-4) finished tied for ninth in the final state rankings.

THE SOUTH CALLAWAY Bulldogs had a pair of defensive backs selected to the Class 2 squad.
Cory Hanger was a first-team selection for South Callaway, while teammate Garner Rudroff was a second-team pick.
The Bulldogs (10-2) received votes in the final Class 2 rankings.

A PAIR OF Camdenton Lakers were named to the Class 5 team.
Kullen Carlock was a first-team pick at receiver-end, while C.J. Stanton was a second-team selection on the offensive line.
Camdenton (10-2) was seventh in the final Class 5 rankings.
