A line of baby rattles with pieces that pose a choking hazard and boilers that could pose a carbon monoxide hazard are among this week's recalled consumer products. Others include hooded children's clothing and mattresses.

BABY RATTLES
DETAILS: Manhattan Toy Quixel baby rattles. The plastic rattles have arches in red, orange, green, and blue with sliding beads on each of the arches. The arches are held together by a single string of red, white and blue elastic. The rattle arches measure about 5 inches in diameter. The product was sold with or without a box. "Manhattan Toy" is printed on one of the arches. They were sold at specialty toy and baby stores nationwide, in Canada, and online at www.manhattantoy.com from September 2011 through October 2013.
WHY: The arches can break, creating a small part which poses a choking hazard to small children.
INCIDENTS: Four reports of the rattles breaking. No injuries have been reported.

HEATING BOILERS
DETAILS: Crown Boiler CWD series cast iron hot water boilers that use natural gas or liquid petroleum to heat water in home baseboard, floor, or radiator heating systems. The Crown Boiler logo is on the front of the boiler. Recalled boilers have model numbers that begin with CWD and were made between May 1, 2005 and July 1, 2013. The model number and the manufacturing date are located on a white rating label located on the upper right side of the boiler. The manufacturing date appears under "Series" in the MM/DD/YYYY or M/D/YYYY format or as a two-letter code. They were sold at plumbing and heating wholesale distributors nationwide from May 2005 through July 2013. Recalled models have dates between 5/1/2005 and 7/1/2013 or one of the following two-letter codes: EB, FB, GB, HB, IB, JB, KB, LB, AC, BC, CC, DC, EC, FC, GC, HC, IC, JC, KC, LC, AD, BD, CD, DD, ED, FD, GD, HD, ID, JD, KD, LD, AE, BE, CE, DE, EE, FE, GE, HE, IE, JE, KE, LE, AF, BF, CF, DF, EF, FF, GF, HF, IF, JF, KF, LF, AG, BG, CG, DG, EG, FG, GG, HG, IG, JG, KG, LG, AH, BH, CH, DH, EH, FH, GH, HH, IH, JH, KH, LH, AI, BI, CI, DI, EI, FI, GI, HI, II, JI, KI, LI, AJ, BJ, CJ, DJ, EJ, FJ.
WHY: The air pressure switch can fail to shut down the burners in the event that there is a blockage in the vent system, allowing the boiler to emit excessive amounts of carbon monoxide, posing a carbon monoxide poisoning hazard to the consumer.

KICKBOARDS/SCOOTERS
DETAILS: K2 Revo Kick kickboards/scooters with item code I10700100. Revo Kick and the item code are printed on a sticker on the underside of the deck. They were sold at sporting goods stores nationwide and online at K2skates.com from March 2010 through September 2013.
WHY: The front assembly of the kickboards/scooters can break and the handle can detach or partially detach, causing loss of control or loss of balance. This poses a fall hazard to the rider.
INCIDENTS: None reported.

BICYCLE DERAILLEURS
DETAILS: SRAM RED WiFLi Rear Derailleur, which is a device that moves a bicycle chain gears on the rear wheel. The name SRAM RED and the serial number of the derailleur are located on the back of the inner pulley wheel cage plate and are visible when looking through the spokes of the bicycle wheel. The recalled derailleurs manufacturing dates are September 2012 through March 2013. Serial numbers of affected products begin with one of the following four-digit codes: 31T2 ,37T2, 43T2, 49T2 , 03T3 ,09T3, 32T2, 38T2, 44T2,50T2, 04T3, 10T3, 33T2, 39T2, 45T2, 51T2, 05T3, 11T3, 34T2, 40T2, 46T2, 52T2, 06T3, 35T2, 41T2, 47T2, 01T3, 07T3, 36T2, 42T2, 78T2, 02T3, 08T3.
WHY: The rear derailleur's rear pivot pin can loosen or dislodge, causing the rear derailleur to jam or interfere with the wheel, posing a fall hazard.
INCIDENTS: Forty-three in the U.S. with one report of scrapes and bruises.

HOODED JACKETS
DETAILS: Wearever Girl brand girl's long sleeve zip-up 100 percent cotton hooded jackets sold as a set with brown pants. The brown hooded jackets have thin aqua, light pink and light green horizontal stripes and sold in girl's sizes 7 to 16. There is a brown, flat drawstring around the neck of the jackets. "Wearever Girl" is printed on a label on the back inside neck of the jackets and on the pants. They were sold at Burlington Coat Factory in August 2013.
WHY: The jackets sold with the set have drawstrings through the hood which pose a strangulation hazard to young children.

HOODED WINDSUITS
DETAILS: Girls BCG Hooded Windsuits in sizes XS, S, M and L. The windsuits are made of water-resistant fabric and include a jacket and pants. The jacket has a front zip closure and elastic cuffs. The windsuits come in pink with black on the jacket at the top shoulder and a black side strip on the pants; gray with blue on the jacket at the top shoulder and a blue side strip on the pants; and purple with lighter purple on the jacket at the top shoulder and a pink strip on the pants. They were sold at Academy Sports + Outdoors stores and on the firm's website www.academy.com between September 2013 and October 2013. The style number is SGBCGA9001 and the following SKUs: XS 0024229635, 0024229486, 0024229569, S 0024229643, 0024229494, 0024229577, M 0024229650, 0024229502, 0024229585, and L 0024229668, 0024229510, 0024229593.
WHY: The hooded windsuits have drawstrings in the hood around the neck area that pose a strangulation hazard to young children.

MATTRESSES
DETAILS: L&F International Trade's rebuilt twin, full, queen, and king-size mattresses and mattresses with foundations. The used mattresses were stripped to the springs and rebuilt by L&F International Trade. They have an ivory knit fabric cover with a botanical pattern. The recalled mattresses have a yellow tag with "L&F International Trade Inc., 10726A Tucker St., Beltsville, MD 20705" printed on them. They were sold at Best Buy Furniture, Takoma Park, Md.; Capital Discount, Washington, D.C.; Carolina Furniture, Hyattsville, Md.; Easy Buy Furniture, Washington, D.C. and Value Furniture, Bladensburg, Md., from November 2011 through July 2012.
WHY: The mattresses fail to meet the mandatory federal open flame standard for mattresses, posing a fire hazard.
