WESTPHALIA - The Fatima Comets scored 40 points in the second quarter while routing Eldon 91-64 on Friday night.
Jared Schulte scored 19 points and Tom Zeilman added 17, all in the first half, to lead the Comets (3-0). Zach Buscher chipped in 12 add to the attack.
Fatima had a one-point advantage after the first quarter, but outscored the Mustangs 40-9 in the second quarter to take a 58-26 lead into halftime. The Comets scored 21 points in the third quarter and added 12 in the final period.
Fatima hosts New Bloomfield on Monday.
