Girls basketball: St. Elizabeth 42, Osage 38

KAISER - Payton Holtmeyer hit a 3-pointer with less than a minute remaining Thursday night to key a St. Elizabeth comeback in a 42-38 victory against School of the Osage.

Holtmeyer's shot gave the Lady Hornets their first lead of the game. St. Elizabeth was 6-of-7 at the free-throw line after Holtmeyer's shot to ice the win.

Savannah Stiles of St. Elizabeth totaled 21 points to lead all scorers, while teammate Allie Heckemeyer pulled down 10 rebounds.

Izzy Morris had 13 points to lead Osage.

St. Elizabeth (3-0) will host Fatima on Monday.
