TUSCUMBIA - The South Callaway Bulldogs used a big second quarter Thursday night to defeat the Tuscumbia Lions 52-44.
The Bulldogs outscored the Lions 19-10 in the second quarter to take a 28-18 advantage into intermission.
Troy Hentges finished with 13 points for the winners (2-0), while Cody Vandelicht added 12.
Zane Humphreys of Tuscumbia led all scorers with 18 points. Wyatt Ahart chipped in with 13.
Tuscumbia (2-2) will play Prairie Home on Tuesday at the Pilot Grove Tournament.
