The Jefferson City Area YMCA is sponsoring mitten trees at all three facilities.
Donations of all sizes of mittens, gloves, hats and scarves are accepted to trim the trees. After the holidays, the items on the trees will be donated to local charities.
Donations can be dropped off at the Firley Y, 525 Ellis Blvd.; the Knowles Y, 424 Stadium Blvd.; and the West Y, 3507 Amazonas Drive.
