Missouri River Regional Library (MRRL) is hosting Food for Fines now through Dec. 20.
Patrons may bring in non-perishable food items, and each item is worth $1 in fines. Expired food will not be accepted.
Donations given in Jefferson City at MRRL, 214 Adams St., will be given to the Samaritan Center, and donations given at the Osage County Library will be given to the Osage County Good Shepherd Food Pantry.
