College Football: Henderson earns award

Lincoln running back Morris Henderson has been named an Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Division II All-American by HBCU Gameday.

Henderson rushed for 1,266 yards this season, eclipsing the school-record of 1,239 set by Leo Lewis in 1952. He averaged 6.8 yards per carry, which bettered the mark of 5.9 also set by Lewis in 1952.

Henderson ended with 2,267 total yards, the second-most in the MIAA Conference and sixth-most in the country.
