Russellville pounded out 20 hits en route to a 22-1 season-opening victory against California on Thursday.
Emma Koestner went 4-for-4 with two doubles and a triple, and Adrianna Basnett and McKendra Fischer both went 3-for-3 with three runs scored.
Miranda Hill picked up the win in the pitcher's circle by tossing all three innings and allowing one hit with two strikeouts.
Russellville (1-0) plays Pilot Grove on Saturday in the Boonville Tournament.
Russellville won the JV game 22-0.
