Softball: Blair Oaks 14, St. Elizabeth 2

ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. — Blair Oaks pounded out 15 hits and opened the season with a 14-2 victory Wednesday night against St. Elizabeth.

Payton Staggs was the winning pitcher. She allowed two hits and six strikeouts while walking two. She also had a two-run home run.

Ashley Forck paced the offense with four hits and three RBI. Jolie Duffner had three hits two RBI and three runs scored. LeeAnn Polowy had two hits and two RBI while Lauren Viessman added two hits.

The Lady Falcons (1-0) play again Thursday at Centralia.

Blair Oaks won the JV game 6-2.

Natale Mudd went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI, Karlie Reinkemeyer went 1-for-2 with two RBI and Megan Mitchem was the winning pitcher with six strikeouts.
