Your Opinion: Clown’s stunt not racist

Dear Editor:

It disturbs me when those who idolize our president cry racist at every opportunity. They don’t understand that those of us who are not enamored of this man can criticize his policies and actions without having a darker motive.

The rodeo clown at the State Fair would probably not have been criticized if the mask had been of Reagan or Bush.

This incident was not well thought out and was disrespectful to the office of the president but wasn’t racist.

The left is like the little boy who cried wolf. They play the race card at every opportunity not realizing that every false charge lessens the impact when true racism takes place.
