Floodwaters from the Gasconade River have caused a closure of all lanes on U.S. 63 south of Vienna in Maries County.
Motorists and commercial motor carriers traveling on southbound 63 should use U.S. 50 to Missouri 28 at Rosebud then return to 63 near Vichy.
Travelers northbound on 63 are asked to exit onto 28 through Owensville and then take 50 near Rosebud to get back on 63.
MoDOT has set up barriers at the closures, as well as signs to mark the detours.
Drivers are encouraged to check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map, located at http://www.modot.org/ or call the department's toll free number at 1-888-ASK-MODOT, to get updated on road conditions.
