St. Mary's Health Center is offering a community mammogram event, "Me, Mom and Mammograms," from 4-8 p.m. May 16 at the St. Mary's Women's Imaging Center.
The evening includes refreshments, desserts and mammogram screenings in a relaxing, spa-like environment.
The Imaging Center is located next to the hospital on the second floor of St. Mary's Health Plaza and offers digital mammography, diagnostic ultrasound and bone-density scans with most results within 24 hours.
Mammography appointments are required for the event. Call 761-7001 to make an appointment between 4-8 p.m. Other than the cost of the mammogram, which is completely covered by most insurance plans, the event is free.
