Lake orchestra finalizes schedule

Season includes Jefferson City and Russellville performances

The summer season for the Lake Area Community Orchestra has been set, featuring marches, showtunes and “The 1812 Overture” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

The season opens at 7 p.m. May 28 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Russellville. The group will perform at First Christian Church, Jefferson City, on July 16.

In June, the Tuesday performances will be at 7 p.m. at Ha Ha Tonka Castle Steps in Camdenton June 4, at Eldon Air Park or the community center in case of rain June 11, at West Lake Christian Church in Laurie on June 18, and at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Lake Ozark on June 25.

Other Tuesday performances in July will be at 7 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Osage Beach on July 9, at Versailles Royal Theatre on July 23, at Lake Ozark Christian Church in Lake Ozark on July 30.
