HANNIBAL - A good afternoon on the courts saw Jefferson City top Hannibal 8-1 on Monday.
Singles winners for the Jays were Sam Johnson (6-1, 6-0), David Clausen (6-2, 7-5), David Steinmeyer (6-1, 3-6, 10-6 tiebreaker), Spencer Bone (6-4, 6-2) and Isaac Roling (6-7, 6-1, 10-7 tiebreaker). Rex Michitsch dropped a 6-3, 4-6 (7-10 tiebreaker) decision.
Doubles winners were Johnson and Clausen (6-1, 6-2), Roling and Bone (1-6, 6-4, 10-8 tiebreaker) and Steinmeyer and Dalton Doyle (6-1, 6-2).
Jefferson City (10-4) hosts Camdenton today.
