Boating safety course on tap

The Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F Headquarters is offering a boating safety certification course from 5:30-9 p.m. June 3-4. There is a maximum class size of 30.

There is no fee but students are required to pre-register online at Boat Safety Education & Certification link under Training on the Highway Patrol website. See https://www.mshp.dps.missouri.gov/WP02Web/app/safetyEdClasses.

Any person born after Jan. 1, 1984, is required to carry a boating safety certification along with a picture identification when they operate a vessel, which includes personal watercraft, on Missouri lakes.

Any participant who successfully passes the course will be eligible to order the boating safety certification card for $15.
