The 2013 Marcullus assembly was held Friday at Jefferson City High School and Taylor Stevens was selected 2013 Queen. The dance is May 4 at Capitol Plaza Hotel from 8-11 p.m. Marcullus Queen:
Taylor Stevens, daughter of Hart and Shawna Stevens, is a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She is on varsity dance team, in varsity competition cheerleading, played softball, is in Students Against Destructive Decisions and Ambassador Club. She is on the honor roll, in National Honor Society, won the Jefferson City High School Scholar Athlete Award and was the top-ranked female for the JCHS Class of 2013.
Her assembly escorts were Ian Murphy and Steven Coots. Her dance escort is Jacob Brune.
Marcullus court:
Amani Hill, daughter of Gary and Candie Hill, attends First Assembly of God. She is in J-City Riot Show Choir, Chorale, Operetta, participated in District Music Festival and State Music Festival and is in Key Club. She received the Seal of Excellence in Music.
Her assembly escorts were Joel Ridenhour and Elijah Sherwood. Her dance escort is Brennan Vaughn.
Brittany Kaiser, daughter of Randy and Carol Kaiser, attends Trinity Lutheran Church. She is on Student Council, in Choir, Chamber Choir, National Honor Choir, All-state Choir, FBLA and Ambassador Club. She received a CharacterPlus award, is on the honor roll, in Bright Flight, won superior ratings at District Music Festival, was Rotary Club Student of the Month and in National Honor Society.
Her assembly escorts were Zach Ritter and Tyler Kaiser. Her dance escort is Cole Lympus.
Hannah Martin, daughter of Charles and Julie Martin, is a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She is a varsity cheerleader, captain of the basketball cheer squad, captain of football cheer squad and in A+ Mentoring. She received the Jefferson City High School Scholar Athlete Award and the Entrepreneur Scholarship.
Her assembly escorts were James Kozielski and Corey Beard. Her dance escort is Remington Koch.
Lauren Painter, daughter of Bobby and Deb Painter, is a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She plays varsity softball, is in Younglife, JC Fandomaina, Zonta Club and plays Lady Nutelle basketball. She received the Jefferson City High School Scholar Award, is in National Honor Society, was Student of the Month, and on Missouri State Softball Championship in 2009.
Her assembly escorts were Cameron Carroll and Trevor Rucker. Her dance escort is Zainu Mansaray.
