Jays 10, Centralia 0

CENTRALIA — Cameron Carroll tossed a one-hitter Monday as the Jefferson City Jays blanked the Centralia Panthers 10-0.

Carroll struck out seven in the victory.

Brenden Ogletree and Corey Beard hit home runs for the Jays. Ogletree finished with three RBI, while Beard drove in two runs. Rylie Klosterman had two of Jefferson City’s eight hits.

Jefferson City (16-3) is scheduled to play today at Lebanon.

Jefferson City won the JV game 7-4 to improve to 5-1 on the season.

Jeremy Light, Adam Grunden and Ripken Dodson all went 2-for-3. Light was the winning pitcher.
