Hickman 11, Fatima 7

COLUMBIA — Things were going well for Fatima in its game against Hickman. At least until the third inning.

Fatima led 6-0 after three innings but let it slip away in an 11-7 loss at Hickman on Monday.

The Comets had trouble finding the strikezone as they walked 13.

Patrick Schnieders allowed five runs (four earned) in four innings.

Ben Holterman took the loss. He allowed five unearned runs in two thirds of an inning.

Ryan Mebruer, Reid Kesel, Schnieders, Hunter Hennier and Seth Lehmen all had two hits for Fatima. Hennier added a two-run homer and Lehmen had two RBI as Fatima finished with 13 hits.

Fatima (9-4) is scheduled to play South Callaway today at home.
