Lady Jays take Lee's Summit Invitational title

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — The Jefferson City Lady Jays took first place at the Lee’s Summit Girls Invitational on Friday night.

The Lady Jays finished with 181 points while Lee’s Summit North was second with 173 points. Lee’s Summit was third.

Louisa Nylander was a double-winner. She won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles.

Here are Jefferson City’s top eight finishers:

GIRLS

4x800-meter relay: 2. Jefferson City (Torri Bonnot, Emily Deeken, Haley Watson, Madison Hart), 10:26.17.

100-meter hurdles: 1. Louisa Nylander, 15.61; 2. Kezia Martin, 16.31.

100-meter dash: 4. Armani Franklin, 13.43.

4x200-meter relay: 3. Jefferson City (Antwanette Talley, Abby Haug, Franklin, Madison Deatherage), 1:52.05.

1,600-meter run: 7. Lilly Willis, 5:52.47.

4x100-meter relay: 2. Jefferson City (Nylander, Haug, Franklin, Deatherage), 52.13.

400-meter dash: 8. Madison Hart, 1:07.38.

300-meter hurdles: 1. Nylander, 47.70; 3. Watson, 49.07.

800-meter run: 1. Hannah Dugdale, 2:31.50; 2. Bonnot, 2:33.07.

200-meter dash: 6. Talley, 28.20.

3,200-meter run: 2. Deeken, 12:09.73; 4. Jayce Sabala, 12:45.74.

4x400-meter relay: 1. Jefferson City (Franklin, Hart, Nylander, Dugdale), 4:17.00

Long jump: 4. Martin, 15-6 1/2.
