Dear Editor:
I hear or see news reports that say 60 percent of Catholics or more believe in same sex marriages and are pro choice.
This really upsets me and has become my pet peeve. God says marriage is between a man and a woman. God believes in life, Exodus 20:13 "You shall not kill." Abortion is murder.
Who are the 60 percent of Catholics the news media is referring to? I do not understand how a Catholic can practice his or her religion and believe these things that are contrary to God's law.
We Catholics are proud of our religion. We practice God's law and uphold our beliefs by our votes. If you feel the same as I please pray the courts will uphold our belief that marriage is between one man and one woman and will overturn Roe vs Wade.
We need to speak up, write to newspapers and email TV and radio stations. Let them know we practicing Catholics are not included in their surveys. Help me let them know who we Catholics are.
We are not of the Washington crowd who profess to be Catholic or Christian to mislead and deceive. They do not follow God's law. We do not follow man.
We must follow our Lord and Savior and our principles and let them be known.
