Registration for the all-girls, character development organization American Heritage Girls is underway for the 2013-14 season.
An informational meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Capital West Christian Church event center, 1315 Fairgrounds Road.
The local troop, MO3412, organized in 2012, serves girls in kindergarten through age 18 with two meetings each month September through May as well as summer camping activities.
First year activities supported the Missouri Food Bank Buddy Pack Program, Wreaths Across America and the Holts Summit Soup Kitchen.
The mission of American Heritage Girls is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country in a fun environment. The organization was founded in 1995.
