NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Norfolk State said men's basketball coach Anthony Evans has resigned, and a person familiar with the situation said he has accepted the same position at Florida International.
Evans spent six seasons at Norfolk State and last season guided the Spartans to 26 victories and their first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference tournament championship. As a No. 15 seed in their first NCAA Tournament, they upset Missouri before falling to Florida.
