Your Opinion: Christianity about unity

Dear Editor:

A huge thank you to Steve Komaromi and his letter in the April 11 paper. Thanks for the explanation of things and mostly for the bottom line, it all boils down to encountering the person of Jesus Christ.

Because of my relationship with Jesus, I decided years ago not to argue about relatively insignificant differences. I appreciate that the Catholic Church had something to do with that huge statue of Jesus in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Who built the Alamo? Arguing gets us no where.

Christianity is about unity, one body, peace, harmony that leads us to true lasting joy in Jesus Christ.
