The Jefferson City Jays dropped to 5-4 on the season with a 6-3 loss to the Joplin Eagles on Saturday at Washington Park.
The lone singles winners for Jefferson City were Spencer Bone (6-2, 6-0) and Rex Michitsch (6-0, 6-1).
In doubles, the Jays' lone win came from the team of Bone and Dalton Doyle (6-0, 6-1).
Jefferson City will play Tuesday at Waynesville.
