Prep Baseball: Fatima tops California

CALIFORNIA, Mo. - Patrick Schnieders drove in all five Fatima runs Saturday and got the win on the mound as well as the Comets topped the California Pintos 5-2.

At the plate, Schnieders singled home Fatima's run in the first inning. The senior then belted a grand slam in the fifth and finished with three hits in the contest.

On the mound, Schnieders worked the first five innings. He allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out nine. Ben Holterman pitched the last two innings, giving up a run on two hits. He struck out two.

Brady Weber also had two hits for Fatima (7-3), who will play Monday at Fulton.

Fatima won the JV game 13-1.
