Blair Oaks takes second at Southern Boone Golf Classic

ASHLAND - The sixth annual Southern Boone Golf Classic ended with the hosts atop the leaderboard.

Southern Boone took first out of 17 teams with a 326, Blair Oaks was a close second with 333 and Mexico was third with 343.

California was seventh with 375, Russellville was eighth with 381, Linn was ninth with 392 and Fatima was 13th with 421.

Southern Boone's Blake Lammers was the overall medalist with a 70. Walker Kesterson (80), Hayden Nichols (85), Lucas James (91) and Jay Christman (103) rounded out the pack for the Eagles.

Blair Oaks' Tanner Elder and Kory Franks finished tied for second place with a 75. Corbin Singer (88), Jordan Eicholz (95) and Dylan Burnell (101) also competed for the Falcons.

Kade McAdams paced California with an 87, while Curtis Lehman (92), Tyler Elliott (97), John Wolken (99) and Conner George (112) completed the course.

Russellville's Chandler Wolf tied for fifth with a 79, and he was joined by teammates Clayton Harrison (85), Levi Anderson (107), Devin Koestner (110) and Coy Bond (123).

Zach Kucsik finished fourth with a 77 to lead Linn's group that included Alex Luebert (104), Aaron Parkhurst (105), Mackenzie Wilson (106) and Bryce Kliethermes (107).

Connor Muenks led Fatima with an 85, while Carson Kramer (105), Zach Buescher (114), Zach Bradley (117) and Luke Davis (123) also competed.
