Prep Baseball: Calvary Lutheran 5, St. Elizabeth 3

ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. — Wyatt Archer had two hits and three RBI as Calvary Lutheran downed St. Elizabeth 5-3 on Tuesday.

Archer not only contributed at the plate but on the mound as well. He pitched a complete game allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits while striking out seven.

Caleb Propst went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Hance Sommerer was 2-for-3 with two runs. Bradley MacLaughlin and Gavin Nutt each had a hit and RBI.

The Lions (2-4) open play in their own tournament at 5:30 p.m. Friday against Prarie Home.
