The 2013 Household Hazardous Waste Collection has begun and will run through October.
The collection is open to residents of Jefferson City and Cole County. No commercial waste will be accepted.
Dates include: Wednesday and April 24; May 8 and 22; June 12 and 24; July 11 and 25; Aug. 14 and 28; Sept. 12 and 26; and Oct. 9 and 23.
Appointments are required and can be made by calling (573) 634-6410. The location will be given when appointment is made.
