A reward is being offered to help find those responsible for the vandalism and destruction of a statue at Helias High School this week.
The Jefferson City Area Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward that would lead to the arrest and conviction of persons responsible for destroying the statue of Jesus and Mary sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
The metal statue was located west of the school buildings and was put in area where longtime Helias supporter Leon Vanderfeltz had landscaped before his passing last year.
